RESIDENTS have been offered advice by health experts on childhood immunisations.
It was organised by the Lewisham PCT school nursing team who also reminded people there is still a measles epidemic in the borough.
All people under the age of 25 are encouraged to make sure they have had two doses of the MMR vaccine.
There have now been 148 confirmed plus 118 suspected measles cases in the Lewisham community since January, with children and young people under 20 predominantly affected.
The disease is still spreading, particularly among schoolaged children.
On October 27 and October 28 experts from the team visited Lewisham Shopping Centre to offer advice and information.
It followed the first stage of the national immunisation programme against the most common form of cervical cancer, the Human Papilloma Virus.
