SHOPPERS are guaranteed to have a very white Christmas this year thanks to a snow machine.
Gravesend’s White Christmas is the theme for the town centre this year and it will launch on November 15 when the Christmas lights are turned on.
The Christmas lights are being switched on by the Mayor of Gravesham, Councillor Ken Jones and Victoria Scott, who is playing Snow White in Gravesham’s Christmas pantomime this year.
A snow machine will run every hour between Monday and Saturday from 10am on November 29.
Cabinet member for business, Councillor Bryan Sweetland, said: “We are building on the brilliant success of the new lights in town last year with a real celebration of the joy of Christmas.
“Gravesend with its range of shops and its festive atmosphere is going to be the place to be and enjoy all the events and get in the Christmas mood.”
