PEOPLE are invited to take part in an expedition to raise money for a hospice.
A two week expedition which will combine Himalayan trekking with a visit to India's exiled Tibetan community has been organised by the Ellenor Lions Hospice at Coldharbour Road in Dartford.
It will begin on October 31 2009 in Dharamsala, where the Dalai Lama and the centre of the Tibetan community are situated.
Linda Trew fundraising manager for the Ellenor Lions Hospice said: "Our aim is to raise enough money to fund a nurse at the hospice for a year, we are appealing to everyone to join us on what promises to be a trip of a lifetime."
Places are limited so to secure a place call Linda Trew on 01322 422 845.
People will need to pay registration fee of £475 plus insurance and pledge to raise a minimum of £2,850 for Ellenor Lions Hospice.
