STUDENTS took part in a sports day as part of a team building exercise.
The day was organised to help develop leadership and team work skills amongst motor engineering students at North West Kent College.
It took place at the college’s Gravesend campus in Dering Way.
The 35 students studying for their level 3 qualification were shown how to use the gym equipment in the college’s fitness suite.
This was followed by a swimming session in the college’s swimming pool, and a game of football and basketball in the sports hall.
Michelle Irvine, who helped coordinate the event said: “The day was a great success.
“All of the students enjoyed themselves and some have come back because they would like to use the facilities again.
“It means that they realise that coming to north west Kent College gives students an all-round experience.”
