YOUNGSTERS held a day of pumpkin pandemonium at their school for Halloween.
All 222 children at Midfield Primary School, Grovelands Road, Orpington spent the day carving pumpkins as well as making pumpkin soup, sweets and cakes.
The pupils, aged between three and 11, also measured the weight, height and circumference of the pumpkins.
At the end of the day there was an assembly where all the carved pumpkins were lit up and put on display.
Certificates were awarded for the best carvings.
Teacher Sally Crowley said: “All of the children had a day to remember and at the same time learnt many new skills.”
