GYMNASTICS, netball and Thai boxing were just some of the activities on offer at a sports open day for young people.
Bromley Council held an event called Get Active in Beckenham to give youngsters a taster of what sporting opportunities are available in the borough.
Stalls on display in Beckenham Green, Beckenham were advertising football, karate and cricket and many other sports.
The Air Cadets and Territorial Army were also on hand to talk about their work.
Portfolio holder for public protection and safety Councillor Colin Bloom said: “I urge people young and old to take part and see what sporting opportunities there are in the borough.
“Together we can keep Bromley borough safe, pleasant and a great place in which to live and enjoy yourself.”
