YOUNGSTERS discovered the benefits of healthy eating at a workshop.
The fun with food session took place at New Ash Green Library in New Ash Green, Longfield on October 28.
Eight children took part in the workshop, where they learnt about fruit and vegetables and found out about healthy snacks.
The children also played fruit and vegetable bingo and took part in an exercise session.
They were each given a goodie bag containing a bottle of water, a piece of fruit, information on healthy lunchboxes and a bookmark to take home.
The workshop was organised by Sevenoaks District Council and Kent County Council.
Sevenoaks District Councillor Felicity Broomby who attended the event, said: “It was certainly a very enjoyable and informative way for them to learn a bit more about the fun ways of eating fruit and vegetables.”
