FROM this week, Bexley parents will be able to apply online for places for their children at the borough’s primary schools.
Bexley has become the first London Borough to trial a new system which will mean parents will not have to provide physical evidence of their address to their chosen school.
The easy-to-use site takes parents through the admissions process, with links to each of the primary schools, and has useful information to help them apply to schools.
On-line applicants will be given a secure log-on and do not have to complete the application all in one sitting, but can return to it as many times as they need.
But people can still make a paper application, if they prefer.
To find out more, go to bexley.gov.uk/ admissions or call the admissions team on 020 8303 7777 option six.
The deadline for applications is January 30.
