RESIDENTS and workers got into the spirit of the season by dressing up for Halloween.
Mummies, devils and witches were all walking the streets of Swanscombe on October 31 as staff from hair salon, Headstart, Milton Road, Swanscombe, and The Ship Inn, Red Street, Southfleet, gave customers a scare.
Customers were given a fright in the pub this Halloween with its pumpkins, lanterns, flying ghosts and witches, while staff at Headstart snipped away at customers hair while in their outfits.
During their lunch break, the salon staff popped along to the pub for a spooky lunch.
The pub landlady, Susie Clark, said: “It was a really good day and we had a very spooky night.
“We had a Halloween menu and a few of the customers even dressed up as ghosts, the grim reaper and dracula.”
