HUNDREDS of teenage revellers left a family home in ruins after hearing about a party on the internet.
Joanna Zell, 16, had invited a small group of her closest friends to a party at her house in Southborough Road, Bickley, on Thursday (October 30) evening.
But by 10.10pm police were on route to the house to disperse more than 150 party-goers.
Police say the party left Miss Zell’s parents with an estimated £15,000 repair bill after windows were smashed and carpets were destroyed.
A police spokesman said: “Miss Zell invited 20 of her friends and 150 to 200 people turned up.
“Word about the party had spread via the internet.”
Two teenagers, aged 15 and 16, were arrested by police outside the house for public order offences and have been bailed.
