RESIDENTS can have their say on a council’s financial priorities for the coming year.
As part of setting next year’s budget Sevenoaks District Council is urging people to have their say in a number of ways.
They can either log on to the council’s website sevenoaks.gov.uk/budget and complete a questionnaire.
Questionnaires can also be found in the reception of the council’s offices in Argyle Road, Sevenoaks or by calling 01732 227414 or e-mailing communications@sevenoaks.gov.uk.
The consultation ends on December 8.
The overall findings will help the council set the 2009/10 budget in February 2009.
Councillor Brian Ramsay, the council's cabinet member with responsibility for finance, said: "Next year's budget is likely to be challenge for the authority.
“To help us with the budget, I urge our residents to tell us what our priorities should be for the coming year as part of our consultations.”
