A THEATRE company paid youngsters a visit to teach them about homelessness.
The Cardboard Citizens went along to the Brookhill Children's Centre, in Brookhill Road, Woolwich, on October 28.
More than 40 people were treated to a performance from the drama team who have all experienced homelessness themselves.
Martin Wright is a team leader at the young people's support charity, St Christoper's, which organised the event and which works with vulnerable people aged 16 to 25.
He said: "The whole idea was to teach people how to prevent themselves from getting into the situation where they might become homeless, and what to do if they reach that point.
"They encouraged as much audience participation as possible and everyone really enjoyed themselves."
