A 36-YEAR-OLD man has admitted a charge of manslaughter.
Ted Shaxted, 36, of Wallis Park, Northfleet, died at Darent Valley Hospital on December 16 last year after being attacked in his flat two weeks before.
Trevor Lees, of London Road, Northfleet, has pleaded guilty to manslaughter but denied murdering Mr Shaxted.
Bill Saunders, aged 28, of Shamrock Road, Gravesend, and 29-year-old Kelvin Horlock, from Strood, have both pleaded not guilty to murder and manslaughter in connection with the case.
Lees and Saunders entered their pleas at Maidstone Crown Court on October 24 by video link from Elmley Prison, Sheppey.
Horlock entered his pleas via video link on October 27.
A plea and case management hearing for all three men is set to be held on November 11.
