Rubbish fire spreads to Woolwich home
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a rubbish fire at the back of a greengrocers which spread to a home.
The crews from Woolwich and Plumstead arrived in Herbert Road, Woolwich, to find the house’s roof, guttering and fascia board had caught alight.
They spent around 30 minutes putting the fire out after being called at around 2am this morning (October 30).
Two men and a woman had got themselves out of the building before the firefighters arrived.
