WITH GUY Fawkes night soon upon us News Shopper rounds up the fireworks displays taking place across north Kent.
The sky over Swanley will be lit up on November 5 when its town council puts on a free display at Swanley Recreation Ground off St Mary’s Road from 7pm, with gates opening at 6.30pm.
Gravesham Council will fill the sky with colour next Friday (November 7) when it holds its annual Fireworks Festival at the Riverside Leisure Area from 6.45pm, with gates opening at 6pm.
Dartford's night of big bangs is hosted by the Dartford Lions Club in Dorchester Close at 7pm this Saturday (November 1).
Residents of Hextable will also have their annual display this Saturday (November 1), with the parish council setting off fireworks in Hextable Park off Main Road from 7pm.
All people attending displays are asked not to take along their own fireworks.
