A charity is appealing for local businesses to sign up to a unique fundraiser that will see employees arrested and put behind bars.
Orpington-based charity Harris HospisCare with St Christopher’s needs willing recruits to be arrested by Bromley Police and carted off to the cells as part of their annual Jail and Bail event on December 10.
Friends and colleagues then have to stump up a minimum bail amount of £1,000 or let the felon languish in jail.
Event fundraiser for the charity Augusta Adu said: “It will be a terrific day that will raise vital funds for the hospice in a fun and innovative way.
“We know that times are hard but we rely heavily on local people and businesses to support our work caring for those with life limiting illness in Bromley.”
