BROWNIES have held a fashion show to raise money for a charity that protects endangered animals.
Twenty one girls from the 4th Petts Wood West Brownie guides each modelled two of their favourite outfits on a catwalk at the Crofton Baptist Church Hall in Orpington.
The brownies, aged between eight and ten, performed before an audience of 70 parents at the church in Crofton Lane and raised more than £100 for the World Wildlife Fund.
Brown Owl Sue Capon said: “The girls wanted to do something that was enjoyable, different and for a good cause.
“They all put forward their ideas and decided to stage a fashion show modelling their own favourite clothes.
“They all enjoyed themselves immensely and they raised money for charity at the same time.”
