A LIMOUSINE driver has been found guilty of causing the death of a two-year-old boy in a crash on the M25 near Swanley.

John Woolston, 40, from East Ham in London, was convicted of causing death by dangerous driving after Danyal Razzaq died following a collision on the M25 in Crockenhill on July 14 last year.

Danyal, from Hampton in Middlesex, was travelling in a Renault Clio with his family when it was hit by a stretch Hummer limousine driven by Woolston.

Danyal's father, mother and brother were taken to Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford, for treatment, but Danyal died at the scene.

Woolston pleaded not guilty to the charge but a jury convicted him yesterday (October 28) following a seven-day trial at Maidstone Crown Court.

The jury had heard that Woolston did not slow down when all other traffic on the carriageway began to slow due to roadworks ahead.

The limousine hit the rear of the Renault Clio and travelled over the top of it before stopping in the carriageway.

It also hit six other vehicles, causing injuries to eight other people.

The incident closed the Dartford-bound carriageway for around 10 hours.

Woolston has been remanded in custody until he is sentenced, with a date yet to be set.
