PUPILS, staff and parents have enjoyed a healthy lifestyle week.
It involved various activities at Bromley Road Infant School.
The Lifebus run by charity Bromley Life Education parked up at the school in St George’s Road, Beckenham, to offer advice on how to stay healthy.
Talks were given about the virtues of walking to school and sport.
During one afternoon Larry Achike, who represented Great Britain in the long jump at the Beijing Olympics, supervised a circuit event.
This was part of a TeamSuperSchools initiative run by a group of Olympic athletes who visit schools.
Parents were given the chance to enjoy a healthy food cooking lesson.
Bromley Life Education chairman Peter Nash said the Lifebus was used to teach the youngest groups of children about their bodies.
He said: “For older groups we teach about healthy eating and the dangers of drugs, alcohol and tobacco.”
