FASHION store staff have been dressing up in pink as part of a charity event.

Around 15 to 20 employees at Dorothy Perkins at Bluewater dressed up as characters such as the Pink Panther and a pink Power Ranger last Friday.

It was all part of the store’s effort to raise cash for charity Breast Cancer Care.

Customers were able to donate money to sample some fruit in a chocolate fountain and there was also a raffle.

And Cameron McDougall, who works in the store’s stock room, also took part in a sponsored leg wax.

In total the store raised around £1,300 for the charity.

Store supervisor Leanne Rudland said: “It was absolutely fantastic.

“We raised a great deal of money.

“The day was amazing and so many people helped us and donated different things.”
