A WATCH and jewellery shop has been named the king of customer service after beating its competitors to the Store Wars title.
The Glades Shopping Centre in High Street, Bromley, ran a competition to hunt down its most customer-friendly shop and chose the Storm store as the eventual winner.
The final round of the Store Wars competition, supported by News Shopper, placed the watch, jewellery and accessory specialists ahead of seven other finalists.
Co owner Dean Tuohy said: “Reaching the final was a great achievement but winning Store Wars has been truly inspiring for all the team.
“It was a massive challenge as we were mystery shopped and also competed against 130 stores. Thanks to all our customers who voted for us.
“Receiving recognition for outstanding customer service less than 12 months after opening demonstrates how committed we are to standing out above our competitors.”
Storm staff picked up £1,000 in vouchers after shoppers voted for their favourite store earlier this year.
