AN OVERTURNED lorry caused problems for drivers trying to leave the A2 this morning.
The 38 tonne vehicle had partially blocked the slip road at the Ebbsfleet junction of the A2 London-bound.
Traffic was diverted via Pepperhill while the truck was righted and removed from the scene.
The vehicle’s driver suffered minor injuries and was treated by paramedics at the roadside.
Firefighters from Thames-side were called at around 5am to make the scene safe and disconnect the lorry’s battery.
They left the scene by around 5.30am.
The road was reopened by 11.30am.
