1998 – It was reported that police officers had been warned against taking Viagra, as it could impair their ability to distinguish between colours and there were fears it might distract them.
2000 – A tornado struck Bognor – 100 houses were damaged.
2001 – It was reported that an American judge had sentenced two men to walk through their home town dressed as women after they were convicted of being rude to a woman and throwing beer bottles at her.
