A GROUP of six walkers have managed to raise around £10,000 for a charity helping children with a rare skin condition.
Two Petts Wood fathers took their children and a friend on a gruelling 26 mile Yorkshire three peak challenge, taking them just under 12 hours in one day.
James Bowditch, of Princes Avenue, and his friend Simon Campbell, of Marlings Park Avenue ,chose to raise money for Debra which helps youngsters with a skin blistering condition Epidermolysis Bullosa.
Mr Bowditch took his two daughters, Kate, 14, and Molly, 12, while Mr Campbell took his 11-year-old son Josh and a friend, Tom Wilks, 15.
Kate, who admits she did no training beforehand, said: "It was really hard but as we got half way through and it got better. I thought I was going to give up but I didn't."
