A PRE-SCHOOL has been handed an outstanding Ofsted report after inspectors praised its hard working staff.
Tiddlywinks Pre-school in Woodhurst Avenue, Petts Wood, was inspected in September and the recent report judged that the school merited ‘outstanding’ scores in all 14 inspection categories, including how well children are kept safe and healthy.
The report also states that “parents and children receive a warm, friendly greeting on arrival, making them feel welcome and valued”.
Manager and owner of the pre-school, which caters for 45 children, Linda du Preez said: “This report reflects all the hard work the staff have put in.
“We have worked very hard on our health and safety procedures and this will spur us on to improve standards even further.
“There are plans to develop an allotment area later this year so children can plant some spring bulbs.”
