POLICE APPEAL: Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in the Duke of Northumberland pub in Bexley Road, Northumberland Heath, on October 12.

A 24-year-old Erith man suffered serious facial injuries after being glassed in the pub at around 9pm.

He was taken to Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup, for treatment.

A 27-year-year-old man was arrested and has been bailed pending further inquiries.
