HAVING been inspired by the Beijing Olympics, a school has held a Chinese arts week.
All 410 youngsters at Green Street Green Primary School, Vine Road, Orpington took part in workshops where they made clay models of the Terracotta Army, cooked Chinese food, and made masks, dragons and puppets.
The pupils aged between four and 11 also learnt Chinese calligraphy, went fan dancing and performed in a Beijing opera drama.
Deputy head Phil Mercer said: “The children absolutely loved it, the enthusiasm from all the pupils has been incredible.
“The teachers have linked Chinese into everything they have done.”
