A MURDER inquiry has begun after a man and woman were found stabbed in Woolwich yesterday.
Police and the ambulance service were called to a property in Frances Street at 5pm, where they found a dead 35-year-old woman with stab wounds to the neck.
A man, aged 35, was also found stabbed at the same location and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich, where he was pronounced dead.
The man is believed to be called Marlon. A friend of his, who asked not to be named, said the man had five children and a girlfriend called Jamie.
She said: "He was a really lovely guy. I have known him for years and it's really shocking.
"It's devastating and I just hope that the kids are ok."
And a 28-year-old neighbour, who did not want to be named, said the woman had a teenage son.
She said: "She was very nice and friendly - always very polite.
"It's really shocking -I can't believe it."
