IT was time to up the activity levels as staff at the Crook Log leisure centre in Brampton Road, Bexleyheath, staged a charity aerobathon.
Instructors Keiran McCartney and Clare Framp organised the event to raise cash for Macmillan Cancer Support and attracted 40 energetic people to keep up the aerobics for four hours.
The afternoon exercise was followed by a charity night at The Charlotte pub in Station Road, Crayford.
This included a DJ, buffet and raffle, and more than 100 people attended.
It is hoped the event will raise around £4,600 for the charity.
Mr McCarthy said: “This is the first fundraising event Clare and I have organised.
“I was really impressed with how well it went.”
