A CHRISTMAS fair will help work continue on refurbishing a community hall.
The community hall at St Francis Church in Greencourt Road, Petts Wood, is in need of cash to help renovate the building dating back to 1952.
Church-goers have now organised a Christmas fair on November 15 to help raise money to improve the entrance of the church hall.
A flower festival on September 20 raised £1,200 to improve the toilets of the hall and organiser Joan Lawrence said: “We need to make the hall more welcoming so we can get extra bookings.
“The entrance area needs revamping and doing up to make it more pleasant for visitors.”
The festive fair, with a wide range of crafts for sale and santa’s grotto starts at midday.
