Preparations are under way for this year’s Danson Park Fireworks, the annual display presented by Welling Round Table on November 8.
The display is fired over the lake providing stunning views for the crowds within the park.
This year the theme is traditional family fireworks, and the 25-minute display will be choreographed to classical music.
All profits from this event go to The Welling Round Table Charitable Trust, which helps a range of local worthy causes. All primary school children within the borough of Bexley will be receiving a free ticket through their schools, which will entitle them free admission when accompanied by a paying adult.
This year’s celebrations will once again be hosted by community radio station Time 106.8 FM, with prizes and giveaways.
There will also be Forrest’s Traditional Old Time Fun Fair, charity and commercial stalls and plenty of food and refreshments.
