A DAY of song, dance, poetry and music has been held to celebrate the borough’s diversity.
The annual Celebration of Diversity day took place at the Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley for the third year running.
Bromley Council leader Councillor Stephen Carr opened proceedings and Bromley and Chislehurst MP Bob Neill was guest speaker.
Around 350 people came along to the event, which was organised by the council, Bromley police, Bromley PCT and Broomleigh Housing Association.
A highlight of the day was a performance by police officers and sixth formers from Cator Park School, Lennard Road, Beckenham who did a five-minute role reversal.
Organiser Loulou Pearce said: “It went very well, the day was a huge success.”
