TWO sisters have designed an award-winning board game to develop children's self-esteem.

Amy Rogers, 31, of Olven Road, Plumstead, and her 38-year-old sister, Lucy, from Woodland Terrace, Woolwich, recently won a silver prize at the Good Toy Awards for their creation, Feel Good Friends.

The game which is being used by teachers, social workers and children's charities such as the NSPCC and Barnardos, involves acting and role plays with the aim of improving youngsters' confidence.

Amy, a mother-of-two, said: "The game helps children to explore their feelings and their own. It’s a fun way to build confidence and self-esteem and encourage children to feel happy about themselves and their world."

"Not only are families enjoying the game but also professionals working with children - some with severe learning difficulties and disabilities. It is something that we never expected."
