CHARITABLE bikers have been raising money all year for a new children’s hospice.
The Biggin Hill Motorcycle Action Group, known affectionately as MAG, have raised £300 for Demelza's new hospice which is due to open this coming spring in Wensley Close, Eltham.
Around 25 people meet in the Crown Inn, Leaves Green Road, Biggin Hill once a week, often organising a number of fund-raising events, such as hosting stalls at Biggin Hill Air Show and a fete in Westerham.
In return for the donation handed over to Demelza volunteer community fundraiser, Rosemary Norris, two messages will be added to the Walk of Life stones which form a path at the new hospice.
Mrs Norris said: “These stones are a marvellous way of showing who has donated and fundraised for the hospice.”
