HOLLYWOOD and Gravesend seem to be getting on a treat of late. Not only has it given the silver screen its latest Bond girl, in the form of Gravesender Gemma Arterton, it’s also provided key locations for Ewan McGregor’s latest film Incendiary.
Also starring Michelle Williams, Incendiary, adapted from Chris Cleave’s novel, is the tragic story of a young mother whose life is torn apart when her son and husband are killed in a bomb blast at a football match. To intensify her suffering, she is with another man at the time of the blast.
The film, released on October 24, used Gravesend’s Metropolitan Police training facilities where there is a mock town, a train station and even an underground train.
