A RESTAURANT has held a balloon race to raise money for charity.
The Crooked Billet Harvester, Southborough Lane, Bromley launched around 150 biodegradable balloons to raise more than £200 for children’s charity Make A Wish Foundation UK.
Balloons were sold for a minimum of £1 with each participant writing their details on a card, which was then attached to a balloon.
Whoever’s balloon is found the furthest will win a champagne hot air balloon flight.
The restaurant’s assistant manager Dan Fawcett said: “We do this every year. It was a good day.
“The wind wasn’t too strong so they didn’t all disappear at once. ”
