POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a vicious attack by two dogs which left a pianist with serious injuries to her arm and leg.
Mary Dullea was attacked outside her front door in Roydene Road, Plumstead Common, on September 27, at about 11pm.
The 35-year-old mother was with her 19-month-old son Daithi when she was attacked and suffered bite injuries to her right arm and leg.
The dogs' owner is described as a light-skinned black male in his twenties, 6ft tall, slim build, with medium length hair, possibly dreadlocks, and wearing a hooded dark jacket.
Superintendent for Safer Neighbourhoods and Partnership Brian Cherek said: “This was a shocking attack and I ask anyone with information to contact us.
“The owner of the dogs must have been aware of the attack and I would urge that person also to come forward."
Anyone with information should contact Sergeant Dave Hall, Glyndon Safer Neighbourhoods team on 020 8721 2638 or Detective Sergeant Graham Stubbs on 020 8284 9554.
