So, it might not be the biggest problem in the world – but it is annoying when it happens, it is a waste of money and is related to the credit crunch in a roundabout kind of way.
You buy your fruit and veg from the supermarket (or grow your own), you take it home, you store it properly but within a few days it’s gone bad. So you either eat bad fruit and veg or you throw it out and buy more – which is not a good thing in these times of financial struggle.
One solution is the Keep Fresh Bags from JML.
These bags have gas-absorbing minerals embedded into them and also maintain a high level of humidity. The green tinge reduces light.
It’s all pretty simple stuff but the bags seem to do their job.
They are reusable too, which is always a good thing.
I’ve given this product 3 out of 5 because a lot of people will consider the bags to be a pointless product – a solution to a problem which doesn’t exist.
But if icky fruit and veg is a problem for you then the Keep Fresh Bags are worth checking out.
