PARAMEDICS rushed a man with burned feet to hospital after a flat fire in Charlton yesterday (October 18).
Crews from East Greenwich fire station were called to the second-floor blaze in Charlton Lane at around 6.45pm.
While battling the flames, firefighters led an occupant of the four-room flat to safety where he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich by ambulance.
He had suffered burns to his feet and smoke inhalation.
No-one else was injured in the fire.
