AN EXHIBITION detailing the lives of Turkish people living in London over the last 60 years is set to open in Deptford.
The free Turks in London exhibition will open at The Albany theatre, in Douglas Way, on October 30 and will run until November 20.
It includes information on how Turks from different backgrounds arrived in London and how they have adapted to life in the capital.
Lewisham Mayor Sir Steve Bullock said: “The Turkish community is integral to Lewisham’s vibrant community and makes a valuable contribution to life in the borough.
“We would encourage as many people as possible to take the opportunity to visit this wonderful exhibition.”
