POLICE were on hand in Lewisham town centre to give advice to residents on crime prevention.
The Safer Lewisham bus, in partnership with the police and Lewisham Council, parked up in Lewisham town centre yesterday (October 16).
Police officers were on board to give advice to hundreds of visitors on crime prevention and ways of reducing the risk of car crime.
A council spokesman said: “The bus has been used many times, in different locations around the borough, and it has proved popular in the past.
“The most common topic is anti-social behaviour and visitors to the bus had the opportunity to speak to an officer confidentially.”
