A YOUTH centre will host a fun day to encourage youngsters to kick racism out of football.
A range of courses in Djing, poetry and, of course, football will be available to children at Northfleet Youth Centre in Hall Road next Wednesday (October 29).
There will also be talks from staff at Kent County Council (KCC) and a play by youngsters from youth charity Walk Tall addressing the issue of racism.
Senior youth work practitioner at the youth centre, Nigel Crocker, said: “The aim is to show young people that racism is wrong and encourage them not to accept it when playing football.”
The day is organised by KCC’s Kent Youth Service, which offers people aged 11 to 25 a wide range of social and educational activities.
