FOUR projects around the borough have been earmarked for almost £30,000 in lottery funding.
The Friends of St.George's Bickley School, a parent’s group at the school in Tynley Road, Bickley, received £10,000, along with the charity Bromley Welcare.
Based in North Street, Bromley, the charity helps children affected by family problems, isolation and poverty.
The Orpington and District National Childbirth Trust received £2,876 for its work supporting people through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.
And the Northbrook Kyu Shin Kai judo club in Plaistow Lane, Bromley, was awarded £7,000 to continue its work in the community.
The Big Lottery Fund's London boss, Debbie Pippard, said: “A range of projects in London are sharing in well over £600,000 of Lottery awards this month with an emphasis on communities working together to achieve any goal they put their mind to."
