THOUSANDS of new Nintendo games have been stolen overnight from a parked lorry.
The 5,000 games worth an estimated £200,000 were taken between 9.30pm on October 1 and 7.30am on October 2.
The lorry was parked outside Europa Worldwide Logistics in Hailey Road, Thamesmead. The driver had been too late to deliver the goods when he arrived, so he had parked overnight waiting for Europa to open up in the morning.
Thieves sliced open the canvas side of the vehicle while he was asleep to remove the Nintendo Wii Fishing Frenzie games stacked in storage pallets.
If you are offered similar games at a suspiciously cheap price or know anything about the theft, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
