A DANCE teacher has donated the proceeds from her summer school to a group which works with children with Down’s syndrome.
The Topaz Dance Academy runs classes in the boroughs of Bexley and Greenwich.
Owner Lucy Beecham raised £300 from classes she ran in June and July.
She has donated it to Kidbrooke-based charity Friday Friends, which provides activities such as sport and dance for children with the learning disability.
The group meets at the Samuel Montague Youth Centre, Broadwalk, Kidbrooke, on Fridays at 7pm.
Ms Beecham has been helping teach the children how to dance.
She said: “The children are always very excited to see me.
“I was surprised by the amount I could teach them.”
