RESIDENTS in north Kent can take part in a weekly health walk.
The first health walk in Hartley will take place on November 4, starting at 10am outside Hartley Library in Ash Road.
The walk will run every Tuesday and last about an hour.
It will be led by trained volunteers.
Sevenoaks District Council has set up a number of health walks in the district to help improve the health of people in the area.
This particular walk has been organised by residents who recognised a need for a walk in Hartley.
Councillor Elaine Bracken, Sevenoaks council cabinet member said: “The walks are a great way of meeting new people, and as everyone is encouraged to walk at their own pace they are ideal for those who do little or no physical activity.”
The walk is being supported by Sevenaoks District Council.
