STINK BOMB: Crossness Industrial Museum, Belvedere Road, Abbey Wood, is celebrating the 150th anniversary of The Great Stink of London and Sir Joseph Bazalgette, the man who cured it.

The Victorian steam engines which pumped London’s sewage into the Thames will be on view on Sunday. The day runs from 10am. Tickets cost £5. Under 16s go free.
