RESIDENTS in north Kent have lent a hand to tidy up their streets.
People in Bean, Dartford took part in a voluntary litter pick on October 6.
Members of the public and Dartford Council’s Deep Clean team joined forces to clear the streets of litter.
It was organised by Dartford Council as part of its ongoing deep clean programme, which tackles environmental eyesores in the borough.
The cleaning spree included removing graffiti and litter, cutting back overgrown areas and tidying pathways.
The Clean Kent Response team also joined in the action by collecting fly tipping.
