CHARITIES in south east London have the chance to apply for cash to help vulnerable people reduce debt and get the right benefits.
Volunteer and community organisations can apply for a share of £2,330,000 provided by the Government’s Revenue and Customs department.
Groups from around the capital have until November 12 to apply for a grant.
Revenue and Customs’ third sector team boss Derek Tilstone said: "Many vulnerable people don't claim benefits that they are entitled to.
“This money will assist the people who need it most.
"Our aim is to ensure that people are made aware of how they can reduce their debts and pay the right tax."
