MODEL enthusiasts came in their hundreds to a club's 30th annual exhibition.
The annual Meccano show, at the United Reform Church's Sherard Hall, in Court Road, Eltham, contained models of planes, boats, trains, cars and cranes.
One member even attempted making a fruit machine out of Meccano blocks.
Chris Warrell, secretary of the South East London Meccano Club (SELMEC), which organised the event, said: "This really is a great event. It puts the club on the map and gives members a chance to buy the kit they need because fewer and fewer shops are selling it.
"Hopefully events like these will encourage more and more members to join in the future."
